Sealant and caulking replacement

Sealant has a service life of roughly ten to fifteen years. After that it hardens, loses adhesion and lets water into the wall behind it. On a precast or block building, sealant joints are the primary defence. On a masonry building they are what keeps water out of the lintels.

What we do

• Full cut-out and replacement, not caulk-over-caulk
• Proper backer rod, primer where specified, and joint sizing to the manufacturer's ratio
• Two-part polyurethane and silicone systems selected for the substrate and movement
• Window and curtain wall perimeter sealants
• Precast, tilt-up and metal panel joints
• Horizontal sealants at sidewalks, plaza decks and garage joints
